REimagiNEWaste 4 – Biomedical Waste - was conducted in collaboration NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in December 2019:


  • 120 participants including 34 biomedical waste handlers.
  • 16 teams pitched to be among finalists
  • 8 made it to the finals.
  • 6 Eminent judges from the medical, business and investment fields selected the winning solutions
  • 2 solutions pertaining to liquid waste treatment solutions for small
    hospitals/clinics/ laboratories
  • App based solution for management of used and expired medicine
  • A nano bin to facilitate waste segregation in hospitals
